My Husband is Awesome...

...and WHAT, you might ask, does that have to do with a picture of crocheted stuff?

Well, he gave me a Panasonic Lumix camera for Mother's Day, and it has the capacity to take 16- megapixel photos. But using the internal memory, you can only take like 4 of them -- and that would never do for a day trip to, say, a cemetery (you mean I never wrote about that one?) or anywhere else.

So, technological sloth that I am, I kept taking 5-megapixel pictures because I was too lazy to find out what kind of memory card I needed, even though my long-suffering sweetie had offered to get me one, and probably could not understand why I would not want to take full advantage of the available digital power.

Finally, through no cooperation on my part, he got me a memory card that will allow me to take over 2000 16-megapixel photos, and I realized how very cool that actually is. Being a yarn-nerd, I take pictures of crocheted stuff just to marvel at how clear the stitches come out!

2000 is a whole lot more than...4. That's a lot of very sharply defined stitches. Or a whole lot of headstones.
