...my suitcase, that is.The house is (relatively) clean, instructions have been given and food has been pre-cooked. My darling husband and I are off for a few days to Atlantic City!
Among other odds and ends that were finished up were these fingerless gloves for my Etsy shop.
This was the first time I used Vanna's Choice yarn, and I bought it intentionally to compare with Loops and Threads Impeccable brand, which comes in a generous skein and is very comfortable to work with. It has nice stitch definition and is similar to but softer than Red Heart Classic or Super Saver.
Vanna's, on the other hand, is a wonderfully soft acrylic and the finished item is especially cozy. I just wasn't too crazy about working with it, though, because it's a little splitty and a bit too fuzzy for my taste. Plus that, the skein is 3.5 oz. (compared with Impeccable's 4.5).
So Vanna's Choice doesn't really "spin my wheel," but I am certainly hoping for some good "Fortune" over the next couple of days! (Aaarrgghh!)
