The Sounds of Silence

The girls went back to school today, and the house is virtually silent.

I miss them, but I can't say I'm not enjoying the peace and quiet of being here all alone, cooking and doing chores.

I complain about monotony sometimes, but at the end of the day, my "normal routine" is comfortable and comforting.

(And it never hurts to have an interesting little project underway!)
